Public speaking and PowerPoint presentations go hand in hand with one another. SlideShark aims to make your presentations run smoothly. Not only does it give you complete control of your presentation from your devices, but it's also chock-filled with extra features.
What separates SlideShark from the SlideGuppy
There are lots of programs out there that offer different ways of viewing and controlling presentations, but SlideShark is by far the most complete that I've tested. The design of SlideShark is exceptionally intuitive and easy to use.
SlideShark offers a lot of different ways to present. Presentations can be downloaded onto your device, through the cloud, or onto your computer. SlideShark works both as a way to view presentations and can also work as a remote control. In order to project you must either use a VGA/USB or HDMI adapter, or wirelessly connect through a compatible Apple TV device.
Presentations can be loaded onto your device, on your computer, or onto SlideShark's cloud (up to 50MB for free). Most PowerPoint features, such as animations, are supported in SlideShark so you shouldn't have any trouble loading the presentations.
Easy to pick up and present
SlideShark is a very simple to program to use. You can navigate through slides by swiping right or left. Swiping brings up a tiled view of your presentation, as well as a menu bar for further advanced commands.
Each slide also has a transparent pencil icon in the bottom left-hand corner which allows you to draw on the screen. The pen type, color, and pen tip size can also be adjusted from this button. Holding your finger down on the screen brings up a laser pointer which is a clever and subtle addition.
Even if that sounds confusing, there are tutorials from the get go that explain the various gestures and options that are necessary to use the program. After that, helpful tips pop up on screen to remind you of the commands.
Perfect PowerPoint compliment
SlideShark is a great app for students and professionals who have to deliver a lot of presentations. The cloud integration, broadcast capabilities, and simple controls all make for a brilliant app.
